Shades

Centor shades come in three forms, available in a choice of fade-resistant colours to suit any internal or external palette.

Light-filtering

This translucent blind material is hard wearing and allows sufficient light to penetrate and still illuminate your room, but eliminates glare and provides a high degree of privacy.

Blackout

Our no-leak blackout shade totally excludes light and provides complete privacy when drawn. Ideal for bedrooms and home cinema (you can even use the white version as a projection screen!)

Sun-filtering

Perfect for reducing glare, solar heat gain and fading. Can be fitted internally or externally but a popular choice for outside given its hard-wearing, easy-clean qualities.

Two of the biggest problems when opening your doors and windows to let fresh air into your home, is that you are also opening up your home to insects and garden debris, like leaves and grass clippings.
Centor’s two insect screens allow you to appreciate the joy of having fresh air flowing indoors, but without the obvious drawbacks. Even in a strong breeze our screens remain firmly in place.

Our insect screens come with two differing mesh sizes.

Standard Weave Insect Screen

Ideal for eliminating larger insects such as flies and mosquitos, as well as moths which are drawn to the lights inside your home, especially during balmy summer evenings. The mesh size still allows for good air flow, while also acting as a filter for sunlight.

Tight Weave Insect Screen

Identical in style to the Standard Weave insect screen, the Tight Weave screen is a great option if you live near water and wish to keep much smaller insects on the outside, such as midges. This screen can also be an effective filter against the glare of the sun.

Choice of frame finishes

Not only do our shades come in a wide variety of colours, but so do the frames. Constructed of high-quality aluminium, the frame for your screens or shades can be powder coated in any colour of your choice using the RAL European colour matching system. Provide your local supplier for Centor shades and screens with a colour swatch and that is the colour your frame can be painted; it is that simple!
